Ladle is an important metallurgical equipment used for refining the molten steel in primary furnaces (electric arc furnaces, open hearth furnaces, converters) adjusting the temperature of molten steel, buffering the process, and meeting the requirements of continuous casting and rolling.

Functions:

1. Molten steel heating and heat preservation function: Molten steel gains new thermal energy through arc heating, which not only enables the addition of alloys during ladle refining but also allows for composition adjustment.

2. Argon stirring function: Argon is blown into the molten steel through the permeable bricks installed at the bottom of the ladle, giving the molten steel a certain stirring effect.

3.Vacuum degassing function: After the ladle is hoisted into a vacuum tank, vacuum degassing is carried out using a steam jet pump. This process can remove the hydrogen and nitrogen content in the molten steel, further reduce the oxygen and sulfur content, and ultimately obtain molten steel with high purity and materials with superior performance.
